More than 280 top-level researchers will meet at Cosmocaixa to present the latest discoveries, therapeutic advances and promote the scientific exchange between professionals and families.

There will be international references such as Professor Weiland Huttner, director of the Max Planck Institute for Cellular and Genetic Biology, known to discover genes that explain the evolution of the human brain and the development of intelligence, Dr. Li-Huei Tsai of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), who has discovered a strategy to reverse the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease in mice, with possible future application in humans and among many others, Dr. Mara Dierssen, researcher at the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona, ​​and president of the Trisomy 21 Research Society (T21RS), who will show the contributions of epigenetics to the neuropathology of Down’s syndrome.
